Deirdre Broderick: Home
Hey - you found me! Now that you're here, take a look around, make yourself at home, tell me what you're thinking...
Your first stop should definitely be to check out the MUSIC page. At the top of the list is the single I'M PANSY WARRIOR PRINCESS - written for that Internet Goddess of Gaming herself - Pansy Warrior Princess. It's a metal head extravaganza featuring smokin' hot guitar solos by none other than American guitar icon DAVID SPINOZZA. Give it a listen here and be sure to visit Pansy at her realm - www.pansywarriorprincess.com! AND we just shot the 3-D animated music video for it - coming soon - While we're waiting, check out some of our uber-groovy shoot photos at the PHOTOS page. You can't miss 'em - we're ridiculous, medieval and defiant!
Meanwhile, it looks like our good friends at cdbaby.com have now made it incredibly easy for you to download my entire album in MP3 form! Just go here:

As you well know, in handy MP3 form you can pop my tunes into almost any music spewing device you own. Isn't that nice!
Still thrilled from singing with Bob Bisaccia and the Todd Sullivan Orchestra as part of a benefit concert for the Fisher House Foundation. They provide housing for the families of returning wounded soldiers and war veterans. It's an incredible service they provide and a real honor to have sung on their behalf. Check out the PHOTOS page for a few action shots!
A nostalgic R.I.P. to New York City's THE CUTTING ROOM. First time I played THE CUTTING ROOM was February 12, 2006 under 27 inches of snow, when I had the privilege of being presented in concert by none other than legendary promoter SID BERNSTEIN. Just thinking about it still makes me giddy... There are lots of photos, coincidentally on the PHOTO page, and I still have the whole bloomin' story posted on my BLOG page - take a look!
And many thanks to DJ Steve Jarrell - the Daddy-O on the Patio - at WSGI in Tennessee! He flew up to New York to be a part of that big show and wound up stealing everybody's heart... He's been spinning I WON'T FORGET, SMACK and my covers of Joni Mitchell's BOTH SIDES NOW and the Beatles' IN MY LIFE on his radio show and given some great encouragement...If you'd like to hear what he's been calling "the best cover of that Beatles song I've ever heard" visit my MUSIC page! And if you happen to be in the Nashville area, be sure to tune into WSGI and give him a listen. Thanks Steve!!!
Also, IN MY LIFE is on the playlist on a soooopah 24 hour Beatles station - www.beatlesarama.com - many thanks to DJ Pat Matthews! All Beatles all the time...I can say no more...
...except this - I had the pleasure of singing at the Baggot Inn in the West Village with BEATLESTOCK - and the place was packed and singing along! Check out my PHOTOS page...The lads just gave a sold out show at BB King's as a birthday bash for Sir Paul. Incredible - check them out at www.beatlestock.com...........
The other big news is that ABCD - THE MOVIE was picked up by Lifetime Television! For some unfathomable reason, they've been broadcasting it under a new title - HER OWN CHOICE - but I don't think they have the technology to digitally insert Connie Seleca into the picture yet. Anyway, they're showing the movie, whatever it's called, oh yeah - HER OWN CHOICE, right, over the course of the next 2 1/2 years so be sure to check your local listings every week for the next 130 weeks!
For those of you keeping track, I've re-posted my original "Blue Note Records" saga on the BLOG Page, in most of its blood-curdling glory. It was a bit of a roller coaster ride. Ah, the glamour of the music industry. What Music Industry??
And be sure to check out the MUSIC page for some toe-tapping and eye-dabbing tunes...by overwhelming demand I've added MAKE IT HAPPEN and everybody's favorite dysfunctional love song SMACK! ...Also - a selection of songs from my soundtrack album ABCD. You definitely want to give those tracks a listen...and maybe take them home with you in cd form from the BUY page or in easy to carry MP3 form from the link:

And in honor of the late great chihua-ier, Teddy Salad, his portraits will forever sit in the photo gallery. He was truly the psychic wonder pup...
On a happier note, please check out the CD releases of 2 wonderful jazz performers who have each recorded the songs of Kassoff and Broderick. JASPER KUMP's album SUNDAY IN NEW YORK featuring the song YOU ARE ALL THE WORLD TO ME with lyrics by yours truly and music by the legendary Russ Kassoff. And the phenomenal singer CATHERINE DUPUIS offers her CD - THE RULES OF THE ROAD - featuring 3 Kassoff/Broderick tunes - YOU ARE ALL THE WORLD TO ME, I REMEMBER and WHEN HE'S NEAR MY PIANO. Stop by the LINKS page to check their sites out, too!
